The Composites Innovation Centre announces a rebrand and change of name to CIC Engineering to reflect its new strategic direction and market-driven approach to deliver greater value to businesses in Manitoba and Canada.
“Over the past year, we consulted extensively with industry on our value to businesses,” said Doug McCartney, President and CEO of CIC Engineering. “The feedback helped immensely to define this new direction and ensure the services and support we are offering best aligns with industry needs.”
The rebrand is reflective of the company’s role in industry and will create new opportunities to help businesses grow within the manufacturing landscape. While maintaining a foundation in composite technologies, CIC Engineering is building on its core services, design, analysis, testing and fabrication, to include multi-material structures and advanced manufacturing technologies. They will also be focused on strengthening the local supply chain for manufacturers and identifying ways for industry to commercialize new products to drive competitiveness in the marketplace.
CIC Engineering is working directly with industry on an ongoing basis to evaluate their needs and provide value-added services that will help them grow. This rebrand reflects CIC Engineering’s dedication to the manufacturing sector and how it is evolving to better support businesses.
